Warranty Terms

Powersports Vault LLC (Vault Powersports) sells both new and used ATV/UTV parts. Warranty coverage depends on the type of part and is limited as described below. Please read carefully.
1. Used & Low-Mileage Parts
We inspect parts before shipping and describe known condition to the best of our ability. Normal wear, prior use, and the nature of used components mean that residual life can vary. Installation by a qualified technician and proper break-in/operation are strongly recommended.
If we offer a limited warranty on a specific used part (e.g., 30 days on a tested engine or transmission), that will be confirmed in writing with your order. Such warranties typically cover functional failure under normal use and do not cover:
- Improper installation or incorrect fitment
- Lack of proper fluids, break-in, or maintenance
- Abuse, racing, or modification
- External damage after delivery
- Normal wear items
2. New Parts
New parts may carry the manufacturer’s warranty, if any. We pass through any applicable manufacturer warranty; we do not expand it. Keep your invoice and any manufacturer documentation. Claims under a manufacturer warranty are generally handled according to the manufacturer’s process.
Where no manufacturer warranty applies, new parts may be covered by a limited 30-day warranty against defects in materials or workmanship from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated. Contact us promptly if a defect appears.
3. What Is Not Covered
Warranty coverage (when offered) does not include:
- Labor, installation, or removal costs
- Shipping costs for warranty returns (unless we authorize otherwise)
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect fluids, overheating, or neglect
- Cosmetic issues that do not affect function (on used parts)
- Parts used in racing, competition, or commercial applications unless specifically agreed
- Consequential or incidental damages (lost time, towing, other parts, etc.)
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

- Do not return the part until we authorize the claim and provide instructions.
- We may request the part be returned for inspection. Approved claims may be resolved by repair, replacement with a comparable part, or refund of the purchase price, at our option.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability under any warranty is limited to the purchase price of the specific part. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages; in those states, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
